MARK DESANTIS
Mark is the interim Chief Executive Officer of Apangea Learning, Inc., which provides online tutoring services to K-12 students in 35 states. He is also President and Co-founder of Mobile Fusion, Inc., a technology firm that provides a portable sensor analytics platform for the US military and intelligence community and commercial security firms. He was previously the US Managing Director of ANGLE Technology, PLC, a publicly traded venture capital and consulting firm. Prior to joining ANGLE, Mark co-founded several technology-based businesses and is a director to several other technology firms in the US. He was a Visiting Scientist at the Software Engineering Institute.

Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, Mark was the Director of Government Relations for Texas Instruments, Inc. in Washington DC and, in that capacity, was responsible for managing their public sector relationships in the US and abroad. Prior to TI, Mark served as a Senior Policy Analyst in both The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Administration of George H. W. Bush. He also served on the staff of the late U.S. Senator John Heinz and, prior to that, was a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Mark is a frequent lecturer and published author on general management, strategy, and entrepreneurship. He is an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and holds a BA and MBA from the University of Dayton, an MS in Technology Management from The American University and a PhD in Public Policy from George Mason University.

ABHISHEK SHARMA
Abhishek is the Vice President of Technology and cofounder of MobileFusion Inc. based in Pittsburgh, PA. At MobileFusion he is responsible for the overall product design and maintaining close relations with various customers within the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to MobileFusion he has used his expertise in building large-scale intelligent systems for various sectors like quick-service, retail industry, defense and aerospace. He has participated and has served as PI and Co-PI on various R&D contracts funded by DOD agencies like DARPA, Army Research Lab, and Office of Naval Research. Abhishek has authored numerous cited publications and has several pending patents in the domain of intelligent systems. Abhishek received Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a MS in Robotics from, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh. His previous work experience includes work with Daimler-Chrysler Research (Germany), INRIA (France), and CalTech (USA).

BOB DELACH
Bob Delach was previously Chief Financial Officer for Geospatial Systems, Inc. (GSI), which designs, manufactures and sells optical and radar imaging systems for specialized defense, homeland security, and commercial applications. Prior to joining Geospatial Systems Inc., Bob was one of the founding shareholders and CFO of MRO DIRECT, Inc. a $4 million commercial industrial start up, providing supply chain procurement efficiencies for indirect materials (MRO). Bob also served as COO/ CFO at Brightline L.P. where he reduced cost of operation by 47% through new work process, and by reducing overhead costs and, prior to that, CEO of Falcon Plastics for the first two and one half year's of this start up operation. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Mallett Technology where he achieved approval from the SEC for a direct public offering that was marketed over the Internet. Bob has a B.S. in accounting from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

AL NATH
Al is a results-oriented proven professional with over 30 years of experience in sales and business development with entrepreneurial, fast-growing companies, as well as large Fortune 1000 companies, delivering high market penetration, client retention and increased profitability. Al was the co-founder of an information technology solutions consulting company. He was responsible for all of the firm’s sales and marketing, including IT consulting services, project management, entrepreneurial mentoring, business development and security analysis. Al attended the University of Pittsburgh and studied Business Administration. He also attended the US Army Technology Institute, Fort Monmouth and currently holds a Secret security clearance.

RYAN J. MCCOMBIE
Ryan is a retired United States Navy Captain with over 26 years of service. His last duty station was as the Senior Navy Representative and Faculty Instructor at the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was previously the commanding officer of SEAL (Sea, Air, Land) TEAM TWO, perhaps the nation's most elite group of special warriors. He spent most of his naval career in special operations and is highly decorated with over two-dozen significant medals and awards, including the Bronze Star (combat V), awarded for valor, a Legion of Merit and two Defense Superior Service medals and awards from the French and Vietnamese Governments. With the SEALs, he trained and served with commandos from all over the world being the 1st American to complete French SEAL training and serving a two-year tour with their elite Commando Hubert. He also served as the Operations Officer of the highly regarded Red Cell Team, which was the subject of much media reporting for its innovative and never-before-seen counter-terrorist and anti-terrorist missions. Ryan was selected to be the first United States Military Attaché to his nation's embassy in Brazzaville, Congo. Following that billet, he commanded SEAL TEAM TWO from 1985 to 1987. Ryan then served in high level positions at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, DC and played a significant role in tasking special operations during Operation Desert Storm from his post at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Mr. McCombie was selected by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a member of a two man briefing team to brief four former U.S. Presidents at their offices and residences on combat operations for Desert Storm. Mr. McCombie is a graduate of Penn State University and the National War College in Washington, DC.

STEVEN T. JOHNSON
Steve Johnson is currently a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton. Prior to that he retired from the United States Marine Corps at the rank Major General with his last assignment as Deputy Commander, Combat Development Command in Quantico, VA. Prior to that assignment he was Commanding General, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) in Iraq. He has held numerous combatant command positions throughout his distinguished career in the US Marine Corps including serving as the Commanding General, Second Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, NC. Steve holds a BA in Business Administration from Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois and attended both the US Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania as well the Spanish Naval War College, Madrid, Spain.

JAMES BULLION
James has over 20 years of diverse business and military experience and is currently works with a private equity investment company, where he serves as transitional CEO and advisor to portfolio companies. Before joining Audax, Mr. Bullion, a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, served in Iraq for 19 months, first as Executive Officer of a Civil Affairs Battalion, then as Operations Chief for the Multinational Security Transition Command. Prior to being activated, Mr. Bullion was a senior executive with Genuity, Verizon’s $1 billion Internet arm, where he built and launched the IP Services Group and managed business development and strategic alliances for the Network Services Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bullion built and managed international operations for UNIFI Communications, a high-growth start-up; he began his career in banking and finance, with First Bank System of Minneapolis, and New England Investment Companies. Mr. Bullion is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School. He graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and Airborne School, and served as an infantry company commander. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Action Badge for his service in Iraq.

DR. C. DOUGLASS LOCKE
Dr. Locke is a full-time consultant with a variety of clients involved primarily in Military, Aerospace, Industrial Control, and Telecommunications systems. He has extensive background (over 40 years) in areas such as software performance, real-time architecture, design, implementation and deployment, standards, software engineering maturity, and software development organization. He is frequently involved in software and systems engineering reviews and audits, overcoming obstacles as well as in identifying and mitigating software and system risks. He is currently leading a new standard development for Safety Critical Java Technology. His clients include the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Naval Systems Warfare Center, Raytheon Corporation, and Sun Microsystems. Dr. Locke also has a significant background in hardware design, implementation, interface, and control. He has held a First Class Radiotelephone License (now called a General Radiotelephone License) for over 40 years, and has worked with RF applications as well as digital and analog electronics throughout that period. Prior to creating Locke Consulting LLC, he served as Vice President Technology for TimeSys Corporation, Chief Scientist of Lockheed Martin’s Systems Solutions Organization, and Chief Scientist of Lockheed Martin’s Software and Systems Resource Center. He has acted as a consultant within Lockheed Martin and IBM’s Federal Systems Division since 1981, working across many Lockheed Martin and IBM sites and organizations. In addition, he has served as an active contributor for real-time POSIX, real-time CORBA, Ada, and real-time Java standards over a 20 year period. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, and has received various awards including two IBM Outstanding Innovation awards.

DR. FERNANDO DE LA TORRE
Dr. De la Torre received his B.Sc. degree in Telecommunications, as well as his M.Sc. and Ph. D degrees in Electronic Engineering from La Salle School of Engineering at Ramon Llull University, Barcelona, Spain in 1994, 1996, and 2002, respectively. In 1997 and 2000, he became Assistant and Associate Professor in the Department of Communications and Signal Theory in Enginyeria La Salle. During his Ph. D, he was visiting researcher at Queen Mary and Westfield College (University of London), Institute of Advanced Computer Studies (University of Maryland), Xerox Palo Alto Research Center and Brown University. In 2002, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Brown university (Providence, RI) and Gatsby Neuroscience Unit (London). Since 2005, he joined the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University as Research Assistant Professor. His research interests are in the fields of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Dr. De la Torre has co-organized the first workshop on component analysis methods for modeling, classification and clustering problems in computer vision in conjunction with CVPR’07, and the workshop on human sensing from video in conjunction with CVPR’06. He has also given several tutorials at international conferences on the use and extensions of component analysis methods. Dr. De la Torre's research interests include machine learning, signal processing and computer vision, with a focus on understanding human behavior from multimodal sensors (e.g. video, body sensors).

DR. SRIKANTH SARIPALLI
Srikanth is a Roboticist with research interests in unmanned systems in general and aerial vehicles in particular. His research focuses on robotic exploration: particularly in air and space and necessary foundations in perception, planning and control for this domain. His work spans algorithmic design and implementation to field experimentation of aerial robots that explore difficult, dangerous and usually inaccessible places on earth and other planetary bodies to further scientific knowledge.

ROBERT MCNEILLY
Bob served the Pittsburgh Police from 1977 to 2006 working as a police officer, plainclothes officer, sergeant, lieutenant, commander and finally, as chief of police from 1996 to 2006. Throughout his law enforcement career he has been assigned to patrol, investigations, special operations, communications, support, training, traffic and administration. Chief McNeilly belongs/belonged to several organizations including the Police Executive Research Forum (past Treasurer), the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Major Cities Chiefs (Executive Board as an East Coast representative), the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, the Western Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, and the Allegheny County Chiefs of Police Association. Chief McNeilly has taught for the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission, the University of Pittsburgh, and the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Chief McNeilly has delivered presentations at the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual meetings, the Major Cities Chiefs, the Police Executive Research Forum annual meetings, the FBI National Academy, Northwestern University, the Police Assessment Resource Center, and various other training sessions. Chief McNeilly served in the United States Marine Corps from June 1970 to June 1972 (Infantry) and has been a member of the Select Reserves in the United States Coast Guard from June 1987 to the present.
